Tablets and the old DA 'Do you remember...?'

I'm trying to get a new Tablet though I'm not sure what to get.
So far Everyone's been directing me towards a Wacom Bamboo.
It seems perfect except, isn't it a little small? *the 99$ one*
Like i guess thats a stupid question, idk,

I'm still debating against the 100$ for that, or saving up FOREVER to get the 2000$ Cintiq 21UX which is AMAZING. A LCD touch screen thats just...beautiful... :iconiloveyouplz:

BTW, I Was just wondering to those old school DA users...
Was it just my imagination, or was there once a rule saying if you were a DA member for 1 or 2 years or more, you were granted special privileges like journal headings and etc...?
I swear I remember reading something like that when I first joined, wanting to do it myself...idk.
Maybe i'm stupid or maybe they changed it. ...Or both. :iconwooooplz:

So yea...maybe someday I'll have enough money to actually get premium membership on here...I'm just so freakin broke.
Oh well...
